Highlight Tour Highlight Tour: Poás Volcano, Doka State & La Paz Waterfall Gardens.

Enjoy a relaxing drive to the “Poás Volcano” through the beautiful coffee plantations and mountains of Alajuela Province, which rises 8,884 feet above the sea level and is one of the most spectacular volcanoes in Costa Rica. It is known as the biggest geyser in the world because of its plumiform eruptions.

The highlight tour is an intense fun filled set of excursions where you will embark on three distinct adventures.To get to the different areas we will traverse the city of Alajuela, passing the Agriculture Monument, as well as the Monument to Juan Santamaria named after a folk hero and the famous Mango Park a favorite among visitors alike.

As we ascend the terrain and near the Poás Volcano we will notice a change in temperature and vegetation; we will see coffee plantations as well as fern, flower and strawberry farms along the way, creating a beautiful array of colors and textures.

On the way to the volcano we will visit the Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast. Then we will be treated to a coffee tour in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable end product.

After the coffee tour we will continue to the Poás Volcano where we will not only admire the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, but also learn about the different ecosystems in this unique and protected national park.

Following the visit to the volcano we will continue to the La Paz Water Fall Garden for a scrumptious lunch and tour. As we arrive to La Paz, we will walk through a trail, leading to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Inside the park we will also visit the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the bird house, the butterfly garden and the frog’s exhibit; to be enjoyed by those of all ages.

Isla Tortuga Tour Isla Tortuga: Beach tour.

Starts from 6 – 7 a.m. San José.

Rafting Reventazon Rafting Reventazon River: Carmen or Florida section.
Section (Class II - III)

The Florida section of the Reventazon River is a big water run, ranked as moderately difficult. Its lush surroundings, abundant bird life and plentiful rapids make this trip a perfect introduction to river running.

It is a 16 km /10 miles run that is clearly divided into two sections. The first hour is very exciting, with big waves and long rapids. Then we stop for a picnic lunch, at the most scenic beach on the river.

The second half is more relaxed, as the river enters the true lower Caribbean at which time your surroundings take on a jungle character and the wildlife is more plentiful.

At the end of the descent we will take you to our Exploration Center where you can change, shower and relax while enjoying a cold beverage of your choice.

WHAT TO BRING? Come with rafting cloths on( light shoes that will stay on, swimming suit, shorts, nylon shirt) sunscreen,, water bottle, change of clothes, towel,, insect repellent and a bit of cash. All luggage will be kept in lockers.

Rafting Pacuare Rafting tour: Pacuare River (Class III - IV)

This trip gives you the ultimate blend of wilderness exposure and excitement. Rio Pacuare is world famous for its pristine beauty. Being a true river gorge it is flanked by step green walls. Waterfalls cascade into the river from both sides as colorful, tropical birds fly over your head. The wildlife is abundant, with sloths, toucans, parrots, coatis, butterflies and colorful frogs being common sights. The white water is equally exciting; the amount of rapids covered on this outstanding descend makes it a most memorable river trip.

During the descent we will stop to enjoy a buffet style lunch at the most beautiful beach on the river. We finish in Siquirres at our own private Exploration Center, where you can take a shower, change, have a cold beverage, enjoy pictures of your trip and reflect with your new friends about the great adventure you just shared.

Canopy Costa Rica Adventure tour: you choose 2 out of 4 options.

A whole day of adventures were you choose two out of four possible adventures: White water rafting, canopy tour, horse back riding or rappel tour in the 5 star adventure destination of a Costa Rica, including a typical breakfast, a delicious lunch and fruit snack break.

The trip:

We will pick you up at San Jose hotels around 7 a.m. and take you though the beautiful area of Braulio Carrillo Park to la Hacienda where you will have a delicious typical breakfast. Once at Hacienda, you will start with the adventures you had previously chosen. Enjoying in between adventures an exquisite lunch at our own restaurant. After this unforgettable experience the transportation will take you back to San José, arriving approximately at 6:30 p.m.

Your Activities:

A choice of 2 out of four adventures: A 2 hour horse ride on the hacienda trails, white water rafting Costa Rica class II and III on the scenic Sarapiquí, the exiting and confidence builder rappel tour on the wall of Sarapiquí canyon and free falls from tree platforms, or our double cable tree canopy Costa Rica tour ending with the 1000 ft. cable across the river.

Between the adventures you will enjoy lunch from chef Millo's cuisine at our river side restaurant and walk through the butterfly farm and garden

What to bring:

Rubber sole sandals or tennis and bathing suit for those doing rafting tour, sun blocking cream, and a second cloth's change. We provide showers and towels.

Crocodiles tour Crocodiles: Rio Tarcoles boat tour and beach resort.

Jacó Beach is a magnificent. Those who chose to travel across the Pacific Coast. You will pass through the exotic mountains to get one of the most beautiful beaches in Central America.

Rain Forest Adventure Rain Forest Adventure: Sarapiqui River & Aerial Tram

Drive to Sarapiquí area, through the extraordinary rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves of Costa Rica. On arrival to Sarapiqui, a beautiful area known for its impressive natural richness, you will board a boat for a relaxing ride on the Sarapiqui River where you will feel in close contact with nature and admire the inspiring surroundings.

After the boat ride you will continue with a walk on Selva Verde eco lodge’s private trails which are a heaven for nature enthusiasts, hikers, bird and wildlife watchers. Following lunch and on route to San Jose, a visit to the famous Rainforest Aerial Tram is included, for a ride on a gondola through the tree canopy in company of a naturalist guide that will talk to you about the wonderful rainforest.

The Rain Forest Aerial Tram – Atlantic is a 475-hectares (1,200-acre) private reserve that shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park, constituting a buffer zone between the park and farming lands.

Tour Arenal Volcano Tour Arenal Volcano: Arenal visit and hot springs.

Located in the north of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural phenomenon that attracts thousands and thousands of tourists due to its permanent, extraordinary and trusted volcanic activity, which on clear nights it seems like fireworks with intermittent explosions of ash and lava.

We will continue on our trip until we get to this wonder from nature then we must go to the north of the country, and inevitably we must make a stop in the famous town of Sarchi, with international fame, it has earned the name of the Birthplace of Costa Rica’s Artisans.

As we continue our trip we will go throw diverse plantations with agricultural products, ornamental plants and cattle ranches until we arrive to La Fortuna, for lunch in a cozy restaurant right in front of the volcano. This excellent location will allow us the best view to see any volcanic activity.

Later we will relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area where you will be able to enjoy an optional massage or other special treatment that must be reserved ahead of time.

Last, a wonderful dinner will be served with a great view of the volcano so you will not miss any opportunities to look out for the incandescent light explosions.

After dinner we will being in our return trip to the city of San José.

Tour Manuel Antonio Tour Manuel Antonio: Manuel Antonio National Park hike.

Manuel Antonio National Park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Costa Rica. On this tour, you will visit heavenly beaches, with clear water and coral reefs, bordered by exuberant vegetation and the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest. Its beaches are counted among the best of the country, where snorkeling and the surfing are very popular.

On the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, you will travel along the coastline enjoying scenic views and crossing plantations of African palms. You’ll also travel past small villages along the Pacific Coast, until you reach the port of Quepos and the National Park.

Since the park itself is closed to vehicles, you will hike to the preserve, crossing a creek. Once in the park, you can simply relax and enjoy the beach, sunbathe or hike through the park's trails, which will allow you to observe Manuel Antonio’s abundant flora and fauna. Several species of monkeys, iguanas, birds and possibly even the three-toed sloth can be seen. If you chose to take the trail to Cathedral Point, do not forget your camera; the views of the park and the sea are simply spectacular!

Finally, enjoy the perfect sunset on a scenic drive back to your Costa Rica hotel.

Tour Tortuguero Tour Tortuguero: canals tour.

Transportation by bus, boat, meals, lodging, all the tours in the area are included.

Visit one of the most exciting areas in Costa Rica, the Tortuguero National Park. This is the most important area in the Western Caribbean for the nesting grounds of the green sea turtle (Chelonia Midas), which can be seen from July to October.

This region abounds with rich flora and fauna. Its several waterways allow all kinds of life to grow and develope in a Primary and Secondary Tropical Rain Forest. Orchids, birds, monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, toucans and many other species, can be seen all over the area. A great way to spend time in the Costa Rican forest!

We accept reservations three days in advance. To book a tour within 3 days please check availability first by email, or phone.

Check the general hotels list. If your hotel does not appear in the list, check first it with us.

Besides the Paypal payment notification you will receive a receipt from us with the details of your reservation 1 or 2 days after making your payment. This receipt should print it and show it guide tour or alternatively just copy the guide´s phone number.

IMPORTANT: Pay does not guarantee the completion of the tour; some tours need 2 persons minimum or have other restrictions. In the event that for any reason cannot accept your booking, we will inform you of the situation and will reimburse your payment.
