Getting married in Costa Rica

Member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, fluent in Spanish and English languages, and legally authorized to celebrate marriages in Costa Rica. He has celebrated more than 100 wedding ceremonies during the last 14 years, accomplishing the necessary expertise in order to legally register matrimonies in Costa Rica (legal requirements, marriage registration and marriage certificates) as well as vast experience performing wedding ceremonies at the most important hotels of Costa Rica.

Once the marriage is registered, the Costa Rican Civil Registry will issue the marriage certificate which will be duly translated by an official translator and Apostilled by the Costa Rican Foreign Affairs Ministry and/or the Consulate in Costa Rica, and finally send to couple in order to be filed before their local authorities.
Fees and expenses will depend on time and work required in terms of schedules and locations.
